Awful movie, the acting was really bad. I don't see the beautiful Salma been a drug dealer.

Hearing it was made by 'Oliver Stone', raised my expectetions,.. so that I was a bit let down. But putting that aside, it IS an intensely realized 'Drug Film'. The review by 'lasertravis' (see below) nails it,.. as usual.

This wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen, it is far from being good. I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way. Just another shootem up bangem up move. Very predictable.

This movie was entertaining and interesting but not one of my favorite for this year. Not too bad---good performance. "A very surprising performance for the gossip girl XOXO'

Loved this one , my new favorite for sure better than I possibly could of believed. Has it all action, drama, romance. Complex storyline and yes violence it is called Savage and is about a Drug Cartel after all. Salma Hayek was great as the badass. Liked the relationship between O and her men , one lucky chick. Characters are easy to like or hate surprisingly even some of the bad ones. I will admit the trick ending got me (O's vision of the events that is) almost cried for a second there. I can honestly say this movie blew my mind. Ending was great and wasn't expecting that for sure. Was a somewhat refreshing surprise.

“Savages” has a promising beginning and interesting enough characters but, in the end, it resorts to the same old formula as other movies of its kind.

I'm surprised at all the negative comments. I found the movie to be a high-octane testosterone thrill ride and I loved the ending. Good story line and acting.

Skip it. Del Toro was good, the rest of it was dreadful.

It's unfortunate, because Stone is clearly a guy who knows what he's doing and has all the tools, he just hasn't put them to any good use in making this film.
