The second to last season builds extremely well to the final season. Each episode is a building block to the next level in the story. There are no fillers in this series, every episode enhances the story. Every element of this series is terrific. The story is spellbinding, the directing is precise and the acting is stellar. And the season ends with an awesome cliffhanger! Enjoy!!

Phenomenal. The best season so far. And not just the wildly inventive plot, which always remains perfectly logical, but the exciting and innovative film techniques.

Engaging urban legend story which has a bit of everything associated with major crimes and family drama. 4.5 vs 5 stars for the gold standard TV series "The Wire".

This has been the best drama I've seen on television. Vince Gilligan and his team of writers along with the rest of the crew deserve a Nobel Prize. The acting and directing are out of this world.

This series is excellent. There were a few episodes where you are left wondering what the point of that episode was but the show always leave you on the edge of your seat wanting more. I can't wait until the next episode

Why is this show so good? The everyman cast into the underworld? The good guy gone bad? Creator Vince Gilligan's notorious attention to detail? Believable characters? The tension between Walt and his DEA brother-in-law? The emotional veracity? The thriller what- happens- next anticipation? The confirmation that drug dealers are sociopaths? Is Walt a sociopath? Will his brother in law find out he's cooking meth?

If a high school teacher puts himself in danger every day, will he be able to save himself every time?

These are just a few of the ponderables. Decide for yourself, but I hope you enjoy the ride as much as I did.

very addictive and well directed, keeps me in my seat and wanting more!!! I usual don,t care for shows that play this story but my husband got watching it ,and I would get drawn in with the story.I can,t wait to surprise him with season 5 ! yahoo..... can,t believe im hooting for a show! oh well, enjoy y,all.

The fifth season of Breaking Bad is split into two parts with eight episodes each. The void left by the death of Gus Fring is quickly filled by Walter, Jesse and Mike. Walter and Jesse cook the pure blue crystal meth and Mike handles the distribution. A risky robbery needed for the operation yields a huge reward but unexpected collateral damage. Skyler wants nothing to do with Walter and sends their son and daughter packing to live with Hank and Marie. The Albuquerque DEA, now under the new leadership of Hank, is hot on the trail of the source of the potent blue meth. Ultimately Jesse and Mike decide to bow out of the meth operation leaving Walter as the sole heir to the empire.

Saul: So you bring him here? Come on! The three of us? We're the Three Amigos! All for one, one for all! We don't need a Fourth Amigo!
Walter: Saul, Mike knows the business. He knows distributors.
Jesse: Mike's okay.
Saul: He's okay? He said he was going to break my legs. And don't tell me he didn't mean it, okay? 'Cause he gave me the dead mackrel eyes. He meant it.
Walter: Saul, Mike threatened me. He threatened Jesse. He probably threatened someone before breakfast this morning. It's what he does. C'mon. Grow a pair.
