I loved reading this book. I loved his writing and did NOT have a problem with the language. (Who reads a biography of a 70's rock musician and expects no "language?" Seriously.) I have much more respect for him now that I know all that he contributed to CSN! I relish the idea of relistening to my old CNS vinyl with a new ear! Thank you, Willie!

"A founding member of the iconic bands Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and the Hollies shares the story of his life from his youth in post-war England through his creative relationship with Joni Mitchell and his enduring career as a solo musician and political activist." agree! I"m pretty open minded but his language was pretty strong too. Funny- he seems likable but also very self righteous. Still, an interesting story!

Found the author less and less likeable as the book went on.
