This was a really good book. I would recommend it to anyone who likes a romance, a story of women's friendship, & delightful tips about gourmet cooking with herbs! A great chick book!

I loved all Barbara's books but this one was not the kind that used to impress me. Whose orders was she following with this one? Not her style here. Liked her old style MUCH better

For me, Sweet Salt Air was one of the most well written, satisfying, actually wonderful, books I've read. (And I'm an avid reader!) Barbara Delinsky has truly improved -- again -- and I hope she writes more books this detailed and empathetic. From a couple of the reviews I read here, the book is not for everyone. But IT IS for me!

Inside "Sweet Salt Air", Delinsky mentions that she changed publishers - and it shows. Normally Delinsky writes simple but effective prose and keeps focused on the story. In this novel, I found there were subplots to the subplots. It was like her editor said, "expand on this topic" or "give more information on that subject" and it created a multiplier effect. If you can wade through all that, there's a really good story buried in there.

Ultimately, an pleasant read. Charlotte is a far more compelling character than Nicole; I wish we had spent more time with her, especially the relationship with Leo.

I like Ms. Delinsky's writing, but this one did not do it for me.

Another gem by Ms. Delinsky. I'm just sorry it's over! I could read more about those 4 people for a few more days for sure!

A bit slow in the beginning but quickly became very interesting. I really enjoyed this book and didn't want it to end! Highly recommend!

Very good novel about friendship. A very comfortable relaxing story to curl up with.
