A clever series starring Tatiana Maslany playing many clones(at least 6 by my count). The mystery is who has initiated this cloning, and who is trying to kill them off one by one. Playing all these clones, each with it's own look and personality, is a real acting feat, and though there are a few holes in the plot, it's a novel idea, and I think, well-done! Good supporting cast and humor to relieve some of the tenser moments.

I wondered what all the excitement was about, and unfortunately I'm still wondering. The conceit behind the series is interesting, but the plot is developed in such an implausible way that it becomes unwatchable (I threw in the towel after two episodes). Mind, this series is directed at an American viewership and a younger demographic - i.e. a less demanding audience that can more easily disregard the plot jumps and coincidences. Put it this way: if you are a fan of Downton Abbey or Prime Suspect, steer clear of Orphan Black.

Fantastic series. Tatiana Maslany is superb, Jordan Gavaris is comic relief, not a weak link in the cast. Wonderful production!!!

Really enjoyed this, as there are enough new things thrown into the mix as one goes along to keep it interesting. Tatiana Maslany is excellent at morphing into all the various versions of clone, as the series seems to be showing how much of an individual's self is shaped by environment and experience, as opposed to genetics. (She needs to work on that English accent, though).
I'm a bit mystified by one viewer's comment (below) that implies it's a British series; it's 100% Canuck, isn't it? The BBC helped finance it, but the writing, production, acting: all Canadian.

So addictive!!! I had tried once before but didn't stick with it long enough. Give it three episodes. If you aren't enthralled to almost the point of obsession... well, you have more of a life than i do! (and shame on you baftas for snubbing her. It is AMAZING how you believe these characters are all portrayed by various actresses....)

Loved it! It's like Run Lola Run meets Bourne Supremacy meets Dollhouse meets Coma meets Alias. Some minor glitches but not with the main actress. The writers seem to forget sometimes that accents, monetary amounts, and expressions should be location specific. Off to a slow start it picks up around the 3rd or 4th episode.

I was a bit iffy on this series at first but I really got into as it went on. Like how they are able to make it entertaining by using the same character as many different ones.

Tatiana Maslany is the primary reason to watch this, along with mind-boggling technical execution to film multiple clones in a single scene. Also Season 2 does not disappoint....so get in line for that as well.
