The first of a series of movies, and by far the most delightful of the movies. You get the whole back story of how Kermit and the Muppets came together. I also enjoyed the multitude of celebrity guest stars, who appeared randomly throughout. One for the kids though adults will enjoy.

Unknown if I like it. I don't have a Blue Ray player. Could not watch it.

Though not nearly as funny as the show itself, it's fun to see the backstory of The Muppet Show and travel with them as they find their way toward stardom. Well worth seeing if you're one of Kermie's multitudinous fans!

Nothing beyond Mediocrity in this film. I usually like watching movies catered to children. this one was boring especially in the early parts. I did like the music though and it was a positive message.

This item was returned along with three other DVDs. Only one showed up as returned as first, then two more but this one still has not been processed.

Could someone please look on the shelves for this movie because it was returned. I renewed it because it was bothering me that it was accumulating charges. I'm not sure what you do with the late fees when something is returned but shows up returned much later. The four DVDs were returned the day after their due date I believe.

Thanks,
Rosemary

I didn't enjoy this movie as much as I enjoyed The Muppet Show. The Muppets and cameo appearances were fun, though. And there were some funny moments. I just find the Show to be much more entertaining.

I took this out remembering how amusing the Muppets are. I then realized how much I really liked the message they put into this one.

I grew up with the record. Just saw the movie for the first time. It was good. The record is still my favorite.

I loved this movie as a kid, and still love it as an adult!! The music is great and the puns abound!! And really, there is nothing better than Kermit in cowboy boots and spurs.

Kermit: "Gee, a Studebaker. Where did you get it?" ... Fozzie: "Oh, my uncle left it to me." ... Kermit: "Huh? Is he dead?" ... Fozzie: "No, he's hibernating."

Kermit: "That's pretty dangerous, building a road in the middle of the street. I mean, if frogs couldn't hop, I'd be gone with the Schwinn."
