I couldn't ever put this book down!!! It was very captivating!! I love the twist on Rapunzel and how she ends up standing up against what she thinks is wrong once she meets Cinder and the gang and really starts to talk to them. I absolutely hated it when I found out that Winter wasn't going to be out for another year! But it's definitely worth the wait if its as good as the previous three books!!!
(P.S. if Marissa Meyer is reading this then please hurry up and write Winter.. I REALLY want to read it!!! :) Thanks!!!) This book is a total must!

I was really worried about this book as I loved Scarlet so much and I didn't want to be let down...Refreshingly (from a series of trilogies that disappointed me) I loved it! A fantastic follow up to Scarlet and Cinder! Although I will say that if you like Scarlet she isn't in the book too much (sadly as she is my favorite character). I can't wait for Winter!

At over 500 pages long, can I say that this book was not long enough? Seriously this book could have been twice the size and I still don't think we would have gotten into each and every character as fully as I would have liked. That being said, what we did get was pretty amazing. The best part of the Lunar Chronicle series, in my humble opinion, is the friendships. Don't you feel like you are a member of the Rampion's crew? Star Pilot Katie Fatiga reporting for duty! Each one of the members of this ever-expanding rag-tag bunch of misfits is endearing in his or her own way. In this book, we got to know the inside depths of Thorne's character in a very clever way (thanks to his sudden dependence on Cress). And oh Cress, sweet, sweet nerdy Cress. I feel like she is the reader's character in all her obsessive nerdy, gleeful goodness. What a great addition. I also enjoyed that we got back to more Cinder scenes (thank you to the last 10 pages especially). And less Scarlet scenes (whom I never really connected with anyway).
The short and sweet: great story, action packed, romantic, and fabulous engaging characters. You should really read this series!

Another great installment from the Lunar Chronicles! A new character, Cress (short for Crescent Moon) is introduced. Like all the other characters, Cress is loosely based upon fairy tale character--she is Rapunzel--at the outset of the book she is trapped in a satellite and has the long, long hair! Events heat up--will Kai marry the evil Queen Levana? Will Cinder manage to save the day? Can't wait for the next title, "Winter."

A good continuation of a good series. It looks like the next book will wrap it up, but you never know. It is satisfying to see some people beginning to believe in Cinder and Cress serves well as our heroes' ace hacker. It's also good to see Ito (the AI become ship's controler) get to be a more active member of the gang. Things move quickly toward the end of the book, but there is a lot left unresolved.

Each book in this series always surpasses the one before, which I never thought could be possible. I loved Cress and laughed out aloud at her interactions with Thorne. I need Winter now!!!

“Captain?"
"Yeah?"
"Do you think it was destiny that brought us together?"
He squinted and, after a thoughtful moment, shook his head. "No. I'm pretty sure it was Cinder.”

"Pause one second. And be honest." Thorne held up a finger. "Are you having a mental breakdown right now?"
