I loved this book as a child and the illustrations are the same as I remember them but readin this as an ebook was rather frustrating because you kept reading the same page over and over as the perspective changed to give a different view of the page.

Beautiful story. Talks about life in the country and how cities are built.

The Little House: Her Story. An interesting look at time from her point of view, describes the seasons and years much in the way a house might. Simply gentle.

Parts of the story reminded me of "A Contract With God: Life on Dropsie Avenue." A very sweet story.
