I read this e-book while on vacation recently. This adds a perspective and additional details to anyone familiar with the gangster saga recreated in so many American movies and television shows. Meyer Lansky is a character in the current Boardwalk Empire series and was renamed Hiram Roth in the Godfather movies. There's little redemption for children who get showered with wealth but no guidance on how to live a healthy, productive life. After drug abuse and other excesses she found happiness in her marriage in later years. It's interesting but definitely shows the damage of criminal life -- it's not the romantic saga shown in movies or TV.
