Opinion

From Library Staff

Lucas Davenport and his cronies are once again knee deep in dead bodies, this time in an abandoned farmyard in the middle of cornfields: nice, private, and quiet. As always, Sandford and Lucas are superb. (Lisa's fave)

Very enjoyable. Never read a Sandford novel I didn't like, and always look forward to the next.

A great read as always...however I do also think that a second writer was involved.

Another fun Davenport read.

John Sandford is one of my favorite authors but I couldn't finish this book. The violence was too much.

A classic John Sandford plot and a good read. If you've read a lot of John Sandford, the dialogue didn't seem "right" . I suspect a ghostwriter was heavily involved as the words and sentences didn't flow like classic Sandford. Sort of like turning on your favourite TV series and finding they've changed all the actors and hired a new screenwriter. The characters are exactly the same but.......
