Extinction and the Photographic Record
From Library Staff
A photograph makes whatever the subject, so much more real. I may have to actually buy this. What is that thing on the cover, you ask? A thylacine. It used to live (some allege that it stil does) on the island of Tasmania. (Tama's fave)
A collection of photos of extinct animals. The pictures of an ivory-billed woodpecker perching on a naturalist’s hat are standouts.
