I really enjoyed this initial book in this dystopian series.
I was able to guess some of the storyline twists (i.e. romance), while others surprised me, but the author did well to not create obvious paradoxes at the same time.

I recommend this book for teens and older. While there is violence and romance, there isn't issues with language or sex that I would be concerned with kids reading.

This book was like a mix of Hunger Games and Romeo & Juliet. It was really enjoyable. A little slow in the beginning, but it's all set-up that comes into play later in the book (and probably the series as a whole). Worth checking out!

I just finished Legend and loved it as much as the other Distopian series such as Hunnger Games, Tomorrow When the War Began, Life As We Knew it, etc. I see that the next part is called Prodigy and is due out Jan 29, 2013.uch a long time to wait!
