Annotation:Man what a beautiful book! A coming of age story in 1980s NYC involving a quirky teen who 1) would rather live in the Middle Ages and 2) has just lost her beloved uncle Finn to AIDS. A great book for anyone who has experienced a great loss, who has simultaneously loved and hated a sibling with all of their being-- or for anyone who loved The Fault in Our Stars. I think that pretty much covers every human who breathes on Earth. (Darcee's fave)
