Add a CommentWell done.I can't imagine anyone not enjoying this film-- regardless of age. If i could give it 6 stars , i would.
Shows how important it is to have a real friend. The acting was perfect and casting too!
How electrifying was the final stadium show, even though it was obviously photoshopped et al but so well done you felt you were there. What a way for Freddie to go out.
This movie is wonderful in so many ways.... tragicallysad story of Freddy and Queen.... if you lived this era....watch this movie! New fan of Freddy and Queen, again!
Let me get this straight: you make a movie about Queen and put in nothing about the making of the "Flash Gordon" soundtrack or "Who Wants to Live Forever," the theme song from "Highlander"? What the friggin' poop makers of this movie about Queen.

This is an intense Life story of the vocalist of one of the greatest British rock and roll bands, Queen. Farrokh Bulsara (Freddie Mercury) was known for his flamboyant stage persona and four-octave vocal range. Extravagant, eccentric singer, songwriter and record producer. This band made a change in the structure of the music of that era, opera-like composition. Unbelievable creations!.
The fact that the surviving members of Queen were producers on this movie is insulting to Queen fans. It is a beyond sugar coated movie loaded with enough inaccuracies about the band that they should make a movie about how this thing got made. I was looking forward to this movie and can't tell enough people who haven't seen it to avoid it.
The movie is boring. But I like Freddie Mercury. His vocal is fantastic and he is very generous. I like his songs.

I made 2020 my year of catching up on movies, and this is what I started with. Very good, Rami Malek's performance was a bit exaggerated but in a good way, I thought. I loved all of the music and the concert scenes.
Queen is possibly the greatest British rock band of the ‘70s. This film is a rusted crown not fit to be placed upon its hallowed brow. Disjointed, silly, maudlin, cliched, plasticized, inaccurate, smug, and just, ugh. Put on “Queen II” and wrench up the volume. Ça va?
This is a good (great?) movie if you're looking for an introduction to Queen. It gives a VERY quick overview of their history and highlights of their time with Freddie Mercury.
If, like me, you grew up with Queen, this movie is a superficial portrayal and you won't learn anything about the band you don't already know.
I'm not rating this movie, because I don't want to influence the opinion of people who just look at the number of stars.
I enjoyed the movie very much. I love Queen's music and the acting by Rami Malek of Freddie Mercury was really good. The timeline of events for the group was not very accurate in the film (I have since read up on the band), but overall an enjoyable movie.
Absolutely the best movie I have seen in a long time. I wasn’t really even a queen fan but I love this movie. I have seen this movie at least nine times already and enjoy it just as much every time.
The songs of Queen. A phenomenal performance by Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury. Lots of cats (they each get their own bedroom). An addicting storyline. What's not to like about this incredible film? You'll be glued to the screen and singing along to some of the world's best loved music.
The story is simplified to the point of comedy and still the brilliance of Freddy shines through.
Good story, just too bad it isn't what really happened with the band. I know most biographical movies change some parts of the story, but this one changed too much.

A very engaging glimpse into the formation of Queen. Though the personal struggles of Freddie Mercury is at the forefront, the film still sheds light on the toils of the band. I do wish that the other characters did not seem secondary, but regardless, this was a film by talented individuals and that was obviously transparent. You don’t just mourn the loss of Mercury’s life, but the loss of good talent and a good band. Warning: You may need a box of tissue when watching it!
A lite wash over the band's history with a focus on Freddie Mercury's closeted gay lifestyle. Not much depth here as to the band's music, and the song timelines used are mostly incorrect, which is odd considering two band members produced it??? Overall, it was a fun watch.
This was rather disappointing..queen light..i was unimpressed at how they made freddie look like some great guy when those of us who grew up with the band know they were not some squeeky clean bunch of kids..yes Malik did a formidable job but there was no real umpff in the story ..find it strange that Brian May was pary of this as it made him look insignificant..
