A tale of very creative children that live out their fantasy that should be a model for all of us This wonderfully narrated book is full of surprises right up to the very end brought full circle Be sure to get this edition with the…

I really enjoyed this book. Great adventure and I love how much they learned. Thanks, Mary!

What a cute pair of siblings, what an adventure, and what a satisfying ending! Suspenseful, funny and charming! One of my favorite passages is this: "What happened was that they became a team, a family of two. There had been times before…

A classic J-fiction that still holds up with humor and adventure if not the bus prices. In many ways this book feels as old as it is but the interplay between the siblings is as sharp as ever.

A fantastic book about two young children on their way to find out secrets about a piece of artwork. It contains almost every genre and has great humor too. Highly suggest this funny mystery book for all ages.

The story itself is interesting, but between the story being very dated and not being able to connect with the main character, I had a hard time getting into the story.

An absolutely marvelous story about a search for an adventure, and finding one in unexpected places.

Who wouldn't want to run away and live in a museum? Or maybe that's just me because I read this book at just the right age. Some of the things might be too out of date for kids today but I suspect they'll be drawn in by the sibling…

One of my favorite books. I read it all the time. It's very interesting and well written but what pulls me in is the relationship between Claudia and her younger brother Jamie. It's very real to life and and satisfying that even though…

I loved this book as a 5th grader, and I love it just as much as an adult. There is something glamorous and exciting to me about living in a museum – and I will admit that I am just a bit jealous of the main characters for doing just that.…

I don't know why I haven't read this book sooner! A perfectly complex story, about two runaway children, who live in a Museum. On their journey, they discover a mystery of a statue, a childless grandmother, and a secret. A great book for…

I don't know how I made it this far in life without reading this classic of children's lit, but I did. It's weird because I've always known about the book, it has a great title, and the basic plot (brother and sister run away from home to…

Overall, I enjoyed this story, especially when the plot became more involved with uncovering details about the Angel statue. Learning about Mrs. Frankweiler added more dimension to the story, and I appreciated the mature and often funny…

I first read this book when I was about eleven, and it was one of my favorite books of all time. I loved Claudia and Jamie's adventure: the idea of running away from home to live in a museum thrilled me, and the fact that they discovered…

Clearly I am a fan of children's adventure stories, and this one stands the test of time. Although the siblings' survival budget of a couple of dollars a day in New York City is now laughable, their escapades and brother-sister dynamic…

The first few pages almost ruined the rest of the book. Claudia is not likable in the slightest, appears to be very stuck up, and entitled. Also, her constant correcting of Jamie's grammar starts off fun but progressively gets more and…

Just the right amount of complexity to appeal to elementary-aged kids without being overwhelming. Excitement and adventure.

Different kind of story , rather quirky , but keeps you interested and wanting to know what happens right to the very end. The ending few chapters were quite surprising . Liked this book and would recommend it .

This is one of the best books I have ever read! Once I started it could not stop reading! This book makes other books look bland. I will read it over and over. If you have not read it read it. You will not regret it.
