Great fun, and perfect for the holiday season - non-tradition-specific. Actually doesn't even mention the solstice...but it's obvious we're at the shortest day of the year and the gentle message about rampant consumerism is wonderful. Love…
When the animals came to coyote's cottage, they had a good dinner. In the nick of time, a girl wearing a reindeer hat came. I liked this because it showed how not to be greedy.

I agree with Mrs. Richardson, this is a cute, funny and very pleasant read for Grade 3-4. The added bonus is the very clever illustrations which put a smile on the reader's face! Good job!

Our grade 3 class thinks this book is funny because the coyote thought the girl was a reindeer. The people at the mall were rude and not thinking about how to behave in the Christmas spirit. and respect the animals' homes!
