I think the characters were not as likeable as the mortal engine series, I did like ho it ties in with the mortal engines and the degree of underlying mystery was great.

I couldn't put this book down. It was captivating! Sometimes I would have to re-read a chapter because I missed something. I like female heroines, because I can typically relate to the character. Overall this book is great!

loved this book. I especially enjoyed all the quirky versions of actual London place names in the post apocalyptic setting. Well-paced, and very visual.
