Opinion

From Library Staff

Thoreau's classic works on solitude and other topics. Walden is clearly the inspiration for a long tradition of American thinkers and writers who have sought solitude.

You can trust the Norton Critical Editions (at least so far as I know) and if they have access to the Princeon University Press edition of Thoreau's journals, then they have the most reliable back-up anyone could ask for. Use this volume! You won't regret it.
