Delightful country house mystery from the queen of romance who displays her talent as a very versatile writer. The characters are sharply drawn and full of the vagaries of human foibles - in other words they are a hoot! And the story is deftly portrayed. This proves that the Golden Age of Mysteries was very aptly named.
