Add a CommentThis book from authors writing from Life Lab in Santa Cruz, California, focuses primarily on garden design. It encourages outdoor gardening activities for families to do together. It discusses insects and reptiles that can be found in a garden, and what to plant to attract pollinators. With pleasant colors, it reviews lots of fun ideas, such as how to make dolls from flowers, directions for making mosaic stepping stones, as well as leaf/flower candles. It also includes recipes in the back.
This book will keep families learning and gardening together through the warm months!
A nice variety of ideas for kids. Great for teachers or parents who are looking for some ideas to get kids interested in gardening.
Great projects and photos. Need to get it again next spring or summer.
