This book should be on every child's shelf. Molly Lou Mellon is far from perfect, but because of the wise words her grandma tells her, she believes in herself when a big change comes into her life. And when a bully shows up, too! Even young children will understand the power of love and a positive attitude. David Catrow's bright and funny! watercolors fit the spirit of this book perfectly. Read it to your child often and maybe he or she will stand tall, too!

I love this book! It has a great message of self-acceptance and rising above the criticism of others, in a context that is fun and easy for young readers to grasp. I highly recommend this book!
