You need to have more copies than 1, of this album. And, you really should have the first album. The one with the black & white sketch of a lions head. This was one of, if not THE main influence and introduction to Latin music, or this genre of music, as a kid. Santana was a significant cross-cultural influence, supporting inclusion and diversity.

Santana is a diverse, American/Latin rock band who, to date, have won a total of 9 Grammy Awards. The band was originally formed in San Francisco, California in 1966 by Mexican-American guitarist Carlos Santana.

Santana first came to widespread public attention when their performance of "Soul Sacrifice" at Woodstock in 1969 provided a strong contrast to many other acts on the bill. This exposure helped propel their first album, also named Santana, into a hit, followed in the next two years by the successful Abraxas and Santana III.

This "Best OF" CD contains 16 tracks in all which were recorded by Santana in the years from 1969-1987- Two of my favourite tunes are - "Black Magic Woman" and "Soul Sacrifice".
