* Isabella was growing stronger at the end of the last book, and she continues to get stronger and stronger in this book. I like books with strong female protagonists.

* A lot happens in this installment of the series. There is action, intrigue, and danger.

* Griffin's cat becomes more important in this book. Yay for cats! :)
