Some of these short stories actually became scripts and made it to the tube as stories. Star Trek is a very visual sci-fi series and plays much better as a movie or tv show due to the dependence on special effects and the personalities of the main characters.. These tales furnish the ideas but are not very exciting the way they are presented in print form.
