This book is rather odd to me. I got it because I'm a nature-lover and want to expose my child to nature, gardening, plants as much as possible. The book seems to be geared towards toddlers like my 13-month-old. The back of the book says Newborn to 4. However, the concepts and the text are too sophisticated. It also doesn't have much flow to it (no rhyming), so it doesn't sound particularly interesting to a little one. The illustrations are cartoon-like and not my favorite (frog wearing a necklace and sunglasses, snail falling from the sky with a parachute, ....).
