From Library Staff

Known primarily for Blankets and Goodbye Chunky Rice, don't let this Thompson diamond in the rough slip by. A great title if you are starting a new chapter in your life.

Takes place after Blankets (tour promotions) and before Habibi (doing research). Not bad; feels a bit rushed at the end (deadline and page limit). Not as good as Blankets or Habibi.

Both his writing and his prose are stark, bold and moving. Read this, and his other works: Blankets, Goodbye Chunky Rice...

"You and I are so much the same...

You have so many layers, that you can peel away a few, and everyone's so shocked or impressed that you're baring your soul, while to you it's nothing, because you know you've twenty more layers to go...

But we're the ones that are most scared, and need the most love."
