Somehow I missed the music of the New York Dolls when they were popular. However, this didn't stop me from enjoying this personal and heartfelt documentary about Arthur "Killer" Kane. He had a lot of hard times. This film shows him when he has found a certain peace with himself, working in a Mormon library, when Morrissey brings the NYD back for a performance in London. This is somehow a beautiful, bittersweet portrait of how one man lived his life.
