Series 1 Episode 1: I love the introduction of the famed detective as well as his iconic car! (the infamous red jag) You can feel the excitement over the potential of a new series as you watch it. I wonder if anyone ever imagined this episode would lead to 33 episodes and two amazing spin off series (a sequel and a prequel)

First of the Morse series and great introduction to John Thaw & Kevin Whatley. This is a great Brit murder mystery series and a great start.

In this police series, situated in the stately area around Oxford, the mild mannered but nevertheless very thorough Chief Inspector Morse and his trusted colleague Detective Sergeant Lewis solve many murder mysteries. This is the first collection in the Inspector Morse series. The series ran for 12 seasons. Stars John Thaw as Inspector Morse and Kevin Whately as Sergeant Lewis. Then, the Inspector Lewis series ran for another 6 seasons. Very well done English entertainment. Highly recommended if you enjoy detective mystery's.
