From Library Staff

Pamela De Barres flitted amongst rock royalty in the 60's and 70's and lived to tell all the details. Ever wanted to know what it's like to be a jet setting groupie? She'll tells all about it and more...

Interesting book on her wild life. A glimpse into the world of the sex / drugs / rock and roll world of the 60's and 70's.

I found this to be quite an amusing recollection and far from lurid. Her writing is quite smooth and her sense of humor is easy to take.

Interesting to see how she became a groupie, but she was very naive and I think she still is a bit ! All those girls thought they were important to the rock stars, but in fact they were just "entertainment on the road"

Meh. Ultimately boring like most of these rock epics are, since they're so repetitive: sex, drugs, self-detestation, repeat.
