This book has not much to offer. Page after page it is the same message that seniors have the gift of age. They have the wisdom to pass on to the young who have shallow thinking. I totally disagree. First, some people are wise irrespective of their age. Secondly, the young are not asking for our wisdom, they are busy flying into their own world.

A group called Women of Wisdom, or WOW, was studying this book together. IThey were seniors and I was their guest and they loved this book so I started reading it and now I see why! It is a good book for a growth group. Ms. Chittister helps you see the burden and advantage of every area of aging. She helps you find peace with the aging process through realizing the reasons to be thankful for the many things that make this a special season of life.
