Umm, sorry, cows don't say Mooo in Turkish, they say Mööö, and the o-sound and the o-umlaut sound are NOT identical... (Plus, the English pronounciation of a double-o is more like a "u" in many other languages, so...) You'd think a linguist would actually bother to investigate a few non-Indo European languages before making such a blanket (and incorrect) declaration.

The cover art and illustrations may put you off, but don't be fooled. Weinstein's book will engage and enlighten both children and adults alike.
