Although Harrison has good taste in her choice of words for this book, it is incredibly boring! It is about equivalent to reading the dictionary except with different organization. I'll admit Harrison attempted to make it more interesting through her definitions but I found them to actually be less clear on usage (exact meaning and within a sentence). Maybe it is worth having around to use as your own "word of the day" instead of an email, but you cannot sit there and read it, even if you are an editor in love with words. Not very conducive to borrowing from the library.
