Before Peter Jackson made hobbit movies, he made some outlandish horror films. The zombie-fighting priest is priceless. Gross but funny.

Very funny movie. A couple of times, I laughed so hard I couldn't keep my eyes open. Considering this was a fairly low-budget "horror" film, the cinematography, sound editing and direction deserve a special nod, too. The entire production was well done.

This movie is the answer to the question: how many body parts and how many gallons of blood are required to make the funniest horror movie ever?! And let it be a lesson to overbearing moms the world over!

If you like/love the original Evil Dead franchise, you will like/love this. Funny triumphs over scary. There is no end to the gore til the credits roll. The effects are old school and at times are hilarious and other times truly disgusting. If you like zombie movies or comedic horror movies you must watch this film.

Great for zombie fans! Zombies, over-the-top gore, plus humor!

This is a zombie movie masterpiece. Its Peter Jackson at his splatter/comedy best. Violent, gory cult classic. This is a must see for the lawn mower scene alone.
