The Kills subtly and organically fuse pop, glam rock, blues, and more in a manner switching between light and dark. The result is a short, sharp, 12-track album of sensual and fresh songs.

The Kills are cool, in a way that very few contemporary bands are. They are blessed to have two charismatic frontpeople, notably Allison Mosshart, one of the few genuine living rock stars. This third album moves a little away from their gritty, lo-fi garage blues and is even danceable in parts. Cool.

U.R.A. FEVER, U.R.A. FEVER, ain't born typical...this song makes me wanna break stuff, dance, cry, and a host of other things that most songs don't do. I'm buying this cd on the strength of this song alone. In the meantime, i'm going to snag it from the library so I can get my music fix.

This may be my favorite record in the last five years. The two of them make undeniable, sexy rock that keeps them at the top of my list. Can't wait for the album that comes out this spring (2011).
