"Asuka Masamune is a guy who loves girly things--sewing, knitting, making cute stuffed animals and reading shojo comics. But in a world where boys are expected to act manly, Asuka must hide his beloved hobbies and play the part of a masculine jock instead. Ryo Miyakozuka, on the other hand, is a girl who can't sew or bake a cake to save her life. Asuka finds himself drawn to Ryo, but she likes only the manliest of men! Can Asuka ever show his true self to anyone, much less to the girl that he's falling for?"--p. [4] of cover.

I read the first two volumes and found myself disappointed. The story itself could have been really interesting. Seriously questioning gender roles in society. But I felt (even though I have only read the first two) that the plot was going in circles. The dialog sounded really cheesy to me, kinda flat. (How many times does someone have to clarify how much this dude likes cute things! And do you really need to phrase it the same way every freaking time D:<)
Where I was supposed to feel some kind of dramatic tension, I felt none. Basically I was very bored. Although I have looked up what other people think of this series and so far I have seen nothing but positive reviews. Which surprised me, but hey: to each's own. :)
