It seemed that this film was about people looking for something - a creative outlet, an expression of self, some control in the way they live and make a living and more.

I've always suspected that when I hear "keep Portland weird" that behavior that some people in Portland consider unique exists in many places. This film was confirmation of that for me.

An intresting series of interviews with folks from brick and mortar store owners, to on-line sellers, and open market stalls. All those interviewed are focusing on handmade objects and how to make a living from them.
This is not a "how-to" video, but a look at creative minds and how they are making a place for themselves in an economy that no longer works the way it once did for our grandparents. Each perspective is unique and thoughtfully given.

Inspiring and energizing.
