This is more of a history book , it's not bad but not quite exciting .

This book is a very interesting read to those who like learning about history. More specificly, about the American Revolution and how frontier life was back then.

Kind of gruesome. Not bad, but not overly exciting at the end.

This is a suspenseful tale with some scary moments. It really lets us know how different life was for pioneers than it is for us today. Children were expected to be more independent - to make hard choices and carry out dangerous tasks.
