Cheech and Chong sell enough of their "specially mixed" ice cream to finance their fondest dreams, new guitars, islands in the sun, beautiful women. While celebrating their wealth, Cheech meets his long-lost love Donna and accompanies her to her penthouse. Donna's boyfriend, an ex-con named Animal is on his way up. Chong unwittingly exchanges all of their money for a worthless bank check, and the only way to get it back is to escape into a nearby insane asylum.

This has to be one of the dumbest movies I've ever seen. Often when a movie is bad or confusing, someone will ask "Were they on drugs?" In the case of this Cheech & Chong movie (the Abbot & Costello of stoner comedies), yes, yes they were. I like dumb comedies as much as the next guy, but this is box of rocks stupid. I'm not sure I even laughed. A young Paul Reubens has a small part and Stacy Keach plays a drug addled police sergeant who is turning into a lizard. Yup. Maybe you have to watch it, well, you know. Followed by more unnecessary movies.
