I'd read all of Richardson's Greywalker novels but for this one. I have found all of them enjoyable --- but this one. Mind you, it's been sometime since I read the others and sometimes the mind and memory play tricks: you remember thing better than they actually were. But I don't remember any of the others as poorly written as Labyrinth. Most obviously MIA is plot. I read this novel to its painful end and never did find a coherent story line --- just bits and pieces. And then there were just way too many "technical" empirical terms for these metaphysical critters. And all those colours: a huge chunk of this content seems to have come from the paint department at Home Depot. Were they having a sale? So, what have we got here? A rush job written when KR was hard up against a deadline; a mega head-cold; or an otherwise gifted author who has temporary lost her mojo. I know its the latter 'cause I've read her other stuff. Labyrinth disappoints but don't let that put you off reading her other novel. They're infinitely better. Trust me.

Close. This is actually Book four in the series following Vanished, which is the third in the Greywalker series. Just finishing Vanished, and from the description the story in Labyrinth continues a plot started in Vanished.

This appears to be book three in the series.

The summary is a series summary and not per book. Will review when I've obtained the first book.
