I really enjoyed this book because the author can convincingly add character and panorama to the scenery and the earth. It is a scientific genre with a fictional underpinning. I like the way it reaches through many eons bringing the time-line of the earth and a few characters to a convergence that demands a reverence that is respect for the power of the life forces that govern us. If you've ever stared at a sunset or a mountain range and tried to imagine something beyond it, you will enjoy this book.
