I wasn’t sure how I was going to like this book but turns out I really enjoyed it. I think what I liked most about it was that we really got to see Abbys struggles as a whole. Her family struggles, relationship struggles, artist struggles and her struggles trying to find growth. It really showed us a perspective we all don’t take into consideration when it comes to our emotions. The author wrote really well and I was stuck into this book like nothing else mattered

I loved this book. I love the idea of the heart list and how it affects the characters in this book. I would say, the only thing I thought could really improve this book would be seeing the paintings she describes.

Love life and the list, this is another amazing book by Kasie West! In this book I love how the main character loves art and painting like me. It is a really cool idea how she makes a list to improve her paintings. In my opinion I would give this book a 4.5 out of 5 stars!

This was an entertaining read and I enjoyed watching Abby use her list to expand her experiences and improve her art. Reading about Abby's paintings helped me to imagine them and I would especially like to see her tree painting. Cooper is her best friend and her secret love. I found him to be a bit selfish especially when he lets Abby down at such a crucial time in her life. There are a couple of times in the book where someone surprises Abby by appearing where she is after using the Find My Friend App. It creeped me out to think about the results if the wrong friend has you on their app.

Seventeen-year-old Abby Turner’s summer isn’t going the way she’d planned. She has a not-so-secret but definitely unrequited crush on her best friend, Cooper. She hasn’t been able to manage her mother’s growing issues with anxiety. And now she’s been rejected from an art show because her work “has no heart.” So when she gets another opportunity to show her paintings, Abby isn’t going to take any chances. Which is where the list comes in. Abby gives herself one month to do ten things, ranging from face a fear (#3) to learn a stranger’s story (#5) to fall in love (#8). She knows that if she can complete the list, she’ll become the kind of artist she’s always dreamed of being. But as the deadline approaches, Abby realizes that getting through the list isn’t as straightforward as it seems... and that maybe—just maybe—she can’t change her art if she isn’t first willing to change herself.
