I had a lot of fun reading this book. The story has you following the main character who all of a sudden, haunted by reaky odd dreams, gets sent to a camp by her mother for no discernable reason. Suddenly, she's surrounded by freaks, by which she is the weirdest in the bunch because no one knows what she really is, herself included. Watching her move through her emotions, establish friendships, and get tangled up as her past meets her present makes for an interesting read.

This book was really fun to read with an interesting plot that keeps you wondering what will happen next. I really liked all the different characters and seeing how they developed throughout the book as well as seeing how the various relationships changed thoughout the book. I am really looking forward to the next book!

I think this will be a fun series, I'm taking the next two books with me camping this weekend... since it's a summer camp in the woods, should be fun.

However, this first one left so many unanswered questions, I'm not sure how the author intended the series to be. I think it'll end up as something that should've been all bound together in one really large chapter book rather than an encapsulated episode series.

I though it was very boring towards the end the love triangle was very predictable.

Don’t miss this spectacular new series that will steal your heart and haunt your dreams, Welcome to Shadow Falls camp, nestled deep in the woods of a town called Fallen…

One night Kylie Galen finds herself at the wrong party, with the wrong people, and it changes her life forever. Her mother ships her off to Shadow Falls—a camp for troubled teens, and within hours of arriving, it becomes painfully clear that her fellow campers aren’t just “troubled.” Here at Shadow Falls, vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters, witches and fairies train side by side—learning to harness their powers, control their magic and live in the normal world.

Kylie’s never felt normal, but surely she doesn’t belong here with a bunch of paranormal freaks either. Or does she? They insist Kylie is one of them, and that she was brought here for a reason. As if life wasn’t complicated enough, enter Derek and Lucas. Derek’s a half-fae who’s determined to be her boyfriend, and Lucas is a smokin’ hot werewolf with whom Kylie shares a secret past. Both Derek and Lucas couldn’t be more different, but they both have a powerful hold on her heart.

Even though Kylie feels deeply uncertain about everything, one thing is becoming painfully clear—Shadow Falls is exactly where she belongs…(From Goodreads)

This book is about a girl,Kylie. She never felt normal like the other "normal" humans. Her parents got divorce and her grandma also die.A lot of bad stuff had been happening to Kylie lately. She was send to the police office and now she needed to go to a summer camp called "Shadow Fall."
There she found a lot of weird people. Some of them were vampires and werewolfs and more different kind of mounters/creatures.There's two guys that liked Kylie a lot.One is a werewolf that Kylie shared a secret pass with and the other giy is Derek who determined to become Kylie's boyfriend.
