Opinion

From Library Staff

Awesome photos and intriguing facts help you learn all about snakes, from the cobra’s hood to the rattlesnake’s rattle. RL 5.1

Bishop's photography of animals amazes; the text is clear and not too detailed, but accurate, and fascinating. See the link below this entry for more of Bishop's photographic animal studies.

Sssssssssss..... To me, snakes rank in the top 10 as being the creepiest critters on the face of this planet. Some are harmless. Some are definitely not. This informative book gives the curious reader an insider's look at many different species of snakes from around the world.

Snakes are not scary; shame on you for perpetuating this untruth. Snakes are warm, beautiful creatures who have special adaptations for their environment. Not all snakes are harmful to humans; however, they all should be treated with respect. Lovely book!
