an absolutely beautifully written novel-once I got use to her style. It flows and meanders in a very beguiling way that draws one into the heartache, the despair and the hope of the young brothers escaping from Iran after the ousting of the Shah and instigation of the Islamist government. Quite a harrowing story at times but it never loses it's hope for a better life.
