This book challenged me to the core! I like simple. I like black and white. This offers neither. But I am so glad I read it.

I felt like I was given a glimpse into the heart of a gay or lesbian person. The struggle with feelings; the struggle against stereotypes; the struggle with faith. Seeing some leave the church and God, because love was lacking. Seeing some choose celibacy to express their faith. Seeing some loving Jesus with all their heart and desiring to walk in His will and share His love.

Seeing good ways and awful ways for Christians (me) to respond to faith + gay.

No easy answers. No easy paths from either side.

The only part that really disturbed me was an ending of "many Christs" or a God with many names. I disagree. Otherwise, I highly recommend.
