The Lost Hero book is complicated in the begging but adventure sprawls everywhere where Leo Piper and Jason are in a majical book from Rick Riordian

Anyone who loved the Percy Jackson series will surely love the Heroes of Olympus series too! This is the cd version of the book. If you can read it this way, I highly recommend it as the reader is great and really brings the characters to life so very well. Jason, Leo and Piper are the main characters in this book. The Roman Gods are featured as well as the Greek ones. A new nemesis emerges and there are really exciting battles and adventures.

I found "The Lost Hero" a little confusing when being compared to the Percy Jackson Series. I think it's because you're always questioning stuff, so that you can't really find a common ground and park your butt there to watch the ride, because you're busy riding it.
That's not a bad thing, and I love fast paced books, but the constant questioning and wondering and frustration at beign kept in the dark gets tiring after a while.
The narrorator is okay...though he reads in a very clipped tone, not really flowing the way it would make it easier to follow along.

All in all, a great story line, I'll be continuing on with the other books. It doesn't take anything away from the Percy Jackson Series, in fact it's nice to see some of the same characters again. :^)
