It's a sad day when the foulest of language is considered the norm. Who knows whether storyline and acting is good when the ears are bombarded constantly.

It is hilarious. It seems so real. I can only watch maximum two episodes at a time because my head spins from it! LOL. It is difficult to look at Terri because of her appearance, though. Malcolm Tucker is sexy!

Expected more than The Thick of It provided. Hand-held cameras, if there's no real effort to keep them steady, should be banned from film-making -- feelings of vertigo, unappreciated. And yes, the swearing was off-putting. Nor did the content become interesting enough to lift this effort from the aforementioned shortcomings.

So clever! Laugh out loud funny about the inanity of government, media and the lazy electorate.

The Thick of It is a brilliant piece of clever British comedy combining a highbrow concept with lots and lots of swearing. If you have problems with swearing, you should probably give this a pass. If you have no interest in politics (indeed, British politics) you should probably give this a pass. If you shudder at the thought of all manner of humanity being belittled and shouted at by possibly the most inventive and caustic Scotsman in TV history, you should probably give this a pass. Everybody else: take a chance.

Misogynist crap. I only lasted for the first 30 minutes.
