This is a good biography that describes his motivations, lifestyle while showcasing his work. While mostly glowing of Sinclair, it does include less fortunate aspects of his life-such as his first marriage and child-and how he dealt with those relationships. It makes a good jumping point for more reading. It also is an interesting look at California politics.
