I found this book disturbing so much it was impossible to stick with the less then believable plot. The author indulged in writing torture porn and glorfifying serial killers rather then craft an intelligent sci fi story.

One is better off reading about the real serial killers. This book feels like it was written to become a movie after the likes of the Hostel series. Only, those were freshly original ideas . Cains Blood seems stuck on the torture and violence done to victims and little more.

To say this book is "just a little whack" ...would be a serous under- statement. But what a concept! Basically the US DoD is funding research that clones notorious serial killers...and half a dozen of these teenage clones escape the lab and head cross-country!! Caution: This novel is bloody/violent and not for the faint of heart.
