With this now being the 4th season of Archer, I find that this once-entertaining, animated, adult, TV series has now clearly started to lose its initial charm and appeal.

Not only is its outrageously venomous humour and wacky situations coming across (more frequently) as being forced and uninspired, but its characters (especially that of Archer, and his mother, Mallory) have lost their overall spontaneity and charisma.

While watching these episodes, I found that far too often I was able to second-guess what the characters were about to say and/or do. And, that's not a good thing.

Mind you, there were times when I found myself pleasantly surprised/shocked by what lay ahead, waiting for me, in the outcome of the episode's plot-line.

But, all-in-all, Archer's off-the-wall appeal is now clearly on the decline and driving itself straight into a head-on collision with that dreaded dead-end zone called "predictability".
